Just a fun project of a space explorer. Deep in the universe far in the future the lone explorer is always on the hunt for unexplored places.
This was the original base shape. Using zspheres to get the basic shape then a quick render test with redshift and maya.
Slowly building up the details, Still working the proportions
Final rendered at 4k in less than 2 hours.
Using a couple of rock textures mixed with few fractals I came up with the ground displacement.
Added some color corrections and a background in comp to finish the image off.
