Just a fun project of a space explorer. Deep in the universe far in the future the lone explorer is always on the hunt for unexplored places. This was the original base shape. Using zspheres to get the basic shape then a quick render test with redshift and maya. Slowly building up the details, Still working the proportions Final rendered at 4k in less than 2 hours. Using a couple of rock textures mixed with few fractals I came up with the ground displacement. Added some color
A small weekend project of a hungry fish monster that I may animate. I started with dynamesh and just pushed and pulled for a little and ended up with this little guy. Base mesh and texture generated in zbrush then taken to mudbox to finish off the texture. First lighting test. When you plug in the wrong displacement map. Testing out some different lighting conditions. Decided to go for camera flash lighting set up which gives the image a pretty creepy feel. #fish #3danimatio
